Does the Build4.0 drying solution apply to all humidity issues?

Our drying solution was initially designed to eliminate moisture within walls caused by capillary action. However, because its actual action consists of sending water back into the ground, it is also capable of delaying water impregnation and accelerating the drying process for walls that are struck by other forms of humidity, such as flood damage.

How long do walls take to dry?

The first results are visible as early as the 2nd week, with genuine improvements that can be expected under 6 weeks. As for the total duration of the drying phase, it can vary depending on the nature of surrounding materials, humidity level and temperature.

Is the electromagnetic field emitted by the Build4.0 drying device really harmless?

Yes. The electromagnetic field emitted by the Build4.0 drying device is extremely weak and presents no health hazards. It has been tested and verified in compliance with EU standards (see EN 61000-4-2: 1995 + A1, EN 61000-6-3: 2001, EN 61000-6-1: 2001, EN 62233: 2008…). According to European standard EN 62233: 2008, that rules on the electromagnetic fields of white goods and similar goods with regard to human exposure, the NEMKO certification company has measured the device’s emission value, to find that only 0,062% of the maximum authorised reference value has been reached. This value is lower than that of a washing machine, a vacuum cleaner or a dishwasher, for example.

How much energy does the Build4.0 drying device use?

Electric consumption varies from 4.5 W/h to 6.8 W/h, depending on the desired radius and power of the chosen device. Therefore, it uses up 2 to 3 times less energy than would a computer in standby mode.

What happens in the event of a power cut?

The Build4.0 drying system is equipped with emergency batteries (two 1.5V AA alcaline batteries) to guarantee continuous action, even if a power shortage occurs. These batteries have a lifespan of 2 to 3 months.

Can the Build4.0 drying device be set up in a storage cupboard?

Yes, because it can cross through all types of walls, beams and partitions, with the sole exception of metal barriers (garage doors, steel tanks…).
